This C Band Single Polarity Circular Feedhorn kit utilises our C Band Waveguide Polariser, the highest performance method of converting circularly polarised C band signals to linear polarisation for prime focus dishes. This setup allows a single polarity LNB to be used to receive either RHCP or LHCP on circularly polarised satellites.
When compared with a traditional dielectric plate this feedhorn offers a 2-2.5dB improvement in carrier to noise performance. This feedhorn is ideal for use on Intelsat 18 to receive ABC Plus. For a detailed explanation of circular and linear polarised signals please read our explanation here.
