In the satellite communication industry a Bias Tee is typically used to power a Block Up Converter (BUC). A critical element of a Bias Tees design is to ensure that DC power is sent in a specific direction to protect the modem or modulator connected in the reverse direction of where the DC power is being drawn.

Our X1601 Bias Tee allows a DC input connection via standard banana sockets with F type female RF connections available.
