The PBI DCH-5500P Professional Satellite and Terrestrial HEVC Decoder provides an ideal solution for receiving, re-multiplexing, de-scrambling,and decoding operations. The PBI DCH-5500P Professional Satellite and Terrestrial HEVC Decoder supports a maximium video resolution of 1080i@60fps when used as a decoder.
The PBI DCH-5500P Professional Satellite and Terrestrial HEVC Decoder is equipped with a variety of inputs, it ensures compatibility with all transmission media. The PBI DCH-5500P Professional Satellite and Terrestrial HEVC Decoder offers re-multiplexing capabilities to enable the creation of new transport streams that are subsets of the original stream.The capability to customise services allows multiple SPTS or MPTS to be outputted via the IP or ASI interfces.
The PBI DCH-5500P Professional Satellite and Terrestrial HEVC Decoder offers dual DVB common interfaces, each slot is able to decrypt multiple services from a single transport stream independently of each other.
The PBI DCH-5500P Professional Satellite and Terrestrial HEVC Decoder features a broadcast quality decoding capability supporting MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 HEVC/H.265/AVS+ in Standard Definition and High Definition formats, and a variety of standard digital and analog outputs, including CVBS video, HDMI, and SDI.
The PBI DCH-5500P Professional Satellite and Terrestrial HEVC Decoder also performs aspect ratio adaptation of HD programs to generate professional quality baseband analog video and audio outputs for easy integration with existing cable network infrastructure. This all-in-one architecture makes the DCH-5500P an ideal product for distribution and contribution networks.
