Description

The PBI P02EC Quad SDI MPEG-2/H.264 HD/SD Transcoder/Encoder Module provides four SDI inputs to the DCP-3000 Digital Content Processing Platform. The PBI P02EC Quad SDI Module can be used to encode or transcode the SDI input into a MPEG 2 or MPEG 4 (H.264) transport stream. The input format to the PBI P02EC Quad SDI Module can be Standard Definition (SD) or High Definition (HD) in a 4:2:0 sampling format.

• Supports MPEG 2 or MPEG 4 (H.264) encoding/transcoding
• Supports SD or HD input
• Signals can be outputted as MPTS or SPTS via the TS/IP interface on the DCP-3000
• Four SDI inputs with one pair of audio channels per input
