WR34 Waveguide Pressure Window

Description

The WR34 Waveguide Pressure Window is used to prevent contaminants such as moisture, dirt and dust from entering a waveguide system, or to isolate pressurised sections of a waveguide from non-pressurised sections in a satellite communication RF system. The WR34 Waveguide Pressure Window allows RF signals to pass through unaffected while maintaining the pressure of the waveguide system.

Waveguide Pressure Window are made of different types of materials based on the application they are used in, the list below provide an indication for to which material you could use.

• Mylar & Glass reinforced PTFE windows: Suitable for pressures up to 40 psi.
• Kapton windows: Suitable for pressures up to 7 psi.
• Quartz windows: Suitable for very high power or high pressure differential requirements.
